Different battery capacities have different cycle counts. For example, CATL 314Ah/280Ah lifepo4 can achieve over 8000 cycles at 1C rate, with 100% depth of discharge (DOD) retention and 80% state of health (SOH) retention. In actual DIY solar and RV tests, the CATL 314Ah lithium iron phosphate battery consistently achieved 7800-8500 cycle counts. Each battery comes with a technical specification sheet.

Both are excellent, but CATL excels in fast charging and high-load applications (e.g, CATL 280Ah LiFePO4 for home ESS 2026 supports 928kW peak). EVE is more DIY-friendly with lower swelling risk.
